  • Description: TEG is a colorless, viscous, and hygroscopic (water-absorbing) liquid. It’s a member of the polyethylene glycol family.

    • Dehydration: Primarily used in the natural gas industry to dehydrate natural gas by absorbing water vapor.  
    • Desiccant: Employed as a desiccant in air conditioning systems and other drying applications.  
    • Solvent: Used as a solvent in various industrial processes.  
    • Plasticizer: Acts as a plasticizer in some polymers.
